
Constance O’Mara
Principal, O’Mara Consulting, LLC
Ms. O’Mara has 20 years of insurance claims management experience. Prior to beginning her consulting business, her most recent position as the President of Brandywine Division of ACE USA Insurance companies was the latest in a series of positions of increasing responsibility managing both direct and assumed claims operations, as well as a nationwide litigation department. Her extensive experience on claims management techniques and litigation issues enables her to provide perspective and advice on a variety of claims handling and reinsurance recovery issues. In addition, she has developed processes and metrics for managing litigation, aligning litigation strategy, and assessing litigation risk. She has designed and implemented auditing programs to effectively assess reserve development and document financial controls.
Her current practice includes serving as an expert witness on claims handling issues as well as assisting companies in evaluating exposures and allocating losses/reserves. Her office is in Haddonfield, New Jersey, 20 minutes from downtown Philadelphia, but her work has included projects in California, Oregon, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Ms. O’Mara received her JD from Notre Dame Law School and is licensed to practice in New Jersey.
